On February 10, 2026, Netflix’s Single’s Inferno season 5 wrapped its finale with Lim Su-been and Park Hee-sun choosing one another. Consequently, public interest shifted toward their off-screen status, too. Shortly after episodes 11 and 12, footage circulated online showing both individuals watching the finale together.
The clip was shared through the Instagram account of a reported representative affiliated with Su-been’s agency. In the video, they sit next to each other on a couch, dressed casually, watching the broadcast and reacting in real time. The setting resembles a private home gathering.
“Subeen friend posting subeen and Heesun watching the finale together , sitting closely guys they are dating 😭 #singlesinferno5 #singlesinferno,” an X user commented.
Speculation had surfaced earlier. In November, Hee-sun uploaded a social media post wearing a hoodie. Viewers claimed it resembled one Su-been had given during filming. Furthermore, both participants made their social accounts private while the program aired.
This action led to theories suggesting previous posts might indicate continued contact. After the finale, both profiles returned to public status. Observers reviewed older images. In several photographs, Hee-sun appeared in a blue cap and jacket similar to pieces Su-been wore in the series.
As of now, neither Su-been nor Hee-sun has publicly confirmed a romantic partnership. Therefore, current claims rely on visual parallels, shared appearances, and social media activity.
Su-been & Hee-sun defy doubts in Single’s Inferno finale
Lim Su-been and Park Hee-sun closed Single’s Inferno season 5 as a confirmed pair, walking off the island after choosing each other in the finale. Before that final decision, uncertainty lingered. In the last stretch of episodes, Hee-sun appeared hesitant, and her ultimate pick was not entirely predictable.
The season had multiple romantic crosscurrents, including Choi Mina Sue’s fluctuating interest and Lee Sung-hun’s presence in the triangle dynamics. Yet when the decisive moment arrived, both Su-been and Hee-sun stepped forward for one another. Previously, both pursued additional Paradise dates despite their growing bond. Hee-sun traveled to Paradise with Sung-hun, while Su-been shared the luxury escape with Min-ji.
Although those parallel outings introduced tension, neither appeared to abandon their inclination toward each other. Complications escalated when Seung-il informed Hee-sun that Su-been had slept beside Min-ji, omitting context. The partial disclosure visibly unsettled her and momentarily strained the connection. The situation was later clarified.
Initially, Su been directed his focus toward Choi Mina Sue, who attracted interest from several male contestants. She engaged him in conversation and playful exchanges, yet her attention rotated between Su-been, Sung-hun, and Seung-il. During that period, Hee-sun maintained an open approach.
They shared extended conversations in Inferno, moved from group interactions to more personal discussions, and developed visible ease around one another. Their rapport deepened, and the emotional current between them grew more defined than what Su-been experienced with Mina Sue in Single’s Inferno.
