Sesko spares Manchester United blushes at West Ham
Benjamin Sesko came off the bench to rescue a point for Manchester United in their Premier League clash with West Ham United. The Red Devils played out a 1-1 draw at the London Stadium as both sides shared the spoils.
With just one defeat in their last six games, West Ham took the lead in front of their fans five minutes into the second half. Tomas Soucek arrived in the box to steer home a low cross from Jarrod Bowen, in the process becoming the highest-scoring Czech national in Premier League history.
Manchester United responded in the 63rd minute, but the VAR ruled out Casemiro‘s goal due to offside. There was no such problem in stoppage time, however, as Benjamin Sesko applied a smart finish at the near post following a cross from Bryan Mbeumo to steal a point for his side.
