Edge, Nikki Bella, Omos, and more react after WWE official Adam Pearce shares heartbreaking update 

Several current and former WWE personalities, including Edge (Adam Copeland), Nikki Bella, and Omos, recently took to social media to react to Adam Pearce’s heartbreaking update. The RAW GM sent an emotional message after his friend Jim Shank passed away.

Jim Shank was one of the most beloved names backstage in World Wrestling Entertainment. The veteran joined the company in 1999 and became the Technical Operations Manager. Shank remained a huge part of the Stamford-based promotion’s weekly programming, and in recent years, he was responsible for operating the remotely controlled and robotic camera systems. The backstage veteran, unfortunately, passed away last Friday at 60 after battling with colon cancer for years.

World Wrestling Entertainment paid a post-show tribute to Jim Shank after this week’s edition of Monday Night RAW. RAW GM Adam Pearce also took to Instagram to dedicate a post to his friend. Pearce called Shank an “unsung” hero before thanking the late veteran for his contributions to wrestling and their friendship.

“Godspeed, Jim Shank. WWE has many unsung heroes: Incredible men and women that perhaps aren’t seen on screen, yet truly make everything we do shine. Jim is unquestionably one of those and has been a respected member of our family for years. I thank you, Jimmy…for your talents, your time, and most importantly, your friendship. Connections through Houston won’t ever be the same. Rest well, my friend. 🙏 ” he wrote.

WWE CCO Triple H paid tribute to Jim Shank

After the unfortunate passing of Jim Shank, Triple H took to X/Twitter to pay tribute to the beloved veteran. The Game highlighted that Shank was the man behind the “magic” of the live television experience at the company.

“On Friday, the @WWE family lost a beloved member of its production crew. Jim Shank was a fixture backstage and an incredible teammate who helped create the magic of the live experience at WWE. My thoughts and those of our entire crew and talent roster are with his family at this time. It’s never goodbye…but see ya down the road,” he wrote.
