Dustin Poirier hints at fourth fight with Conor McGregor at the White House

Dustin Poirier might not be completely done with his Conor McGregor rivalry. ‘The Diamond’ beat McGregor at UFC 257 and UFC 264 after losing at UFC 178.

The second win for Poirier came after McGregor broke his foot during the first round. McGregor has hinted at a return soon, while Poirier retired from MMA after losing to Max Holloway at UFC 318.

Poirier earlier said he misses the fight game, and last night, decided to take some shots at ‘The Notorious’.

‘The Diamond’ initially posted a line where he was happy to have beaten McGregor twice:

“Beat his b** a**. Felt so nice I did it twice.”

Poirier also took shots at some fans who were questioning his record, where his UFC belts were and also some who criticised him for grappling with McGregor.

Another fan asked if Poirier was keen on defeating McGregor for a third time, this time at the UFC White House.

Poirier might not have understood the comment by the fan, as he claimed it would be the fourth time.

Dana White has already claimed he will spend more than $20 million to set up the octagon and other facilities on the White House lawn.

McGregor, for his part, has consistently claimed he will be fighting at the White House. However, no fights have been confirmed by the UFC yet.

UFC president Dana White has a huge job on his hands to set up the White House card. Things have been made harder for him with almost every big name pitching to fight at the event.

One such name, Jorge Masvidal, suggested he could be the one fighting Conor McGregor on 14 June.

Masvidal lost his last four UFC fights, but he has a couple of huge wins over Nate Diaz and Ben Askren.

However, White shut down all talk of Masvidal facing McGregor during a TMZ interview:

“I don’t listen to any of the goofy sh*t. It’s goofy sh*t. The MMA world, I don’t listen to any of that sh*t. So literally none of that is on my algorithm. Almost everything you see on the internet about our sport is wrong. It’s all wrong.”
