Jade Cargill blames 2 people for her WWE Women’s Championship loss

Jade Cargill is set to have a rematch against Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s Championship this weekend at Clash in Italy. The Storm lost the title after a lengthy reign to Ripley at WrestleMania 42, despite having B-Fab and Michin in her corner.

Ripley, on the other hand, was assisted by her former tag team partner and friend, IYO SKY. In a recent appearance on ESPN while promoting Clash in Italy, Cargill blamed her teammates for her loss at WrestleMania 42 against Rhea Ripley.

“My girls didn’t do their job trying to assist me with the win as well. They learned their lesson. So this time that mistake will not be made,” Jade Cargill said.

Cargill will be battling Ripley for the title in the first hour of Clash in Italy, which is set to air on ESPN for free. It now remains to be seen if she can regain her championship at the first time of asking in Turin.

In the same interview on ESPN, Jade Cargill revealed a conversation she had with Michin and B-Fab after she lost the WWE Women’s Championship to Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 42.

“Listen, I had a good talking to them afterwards. I was like, listen, if you going to stand next to me, cuz to stand next to me is a blessing. My presence is a blessing. So, don’t just come up here and think that you’re just taking a cakewalk standing next to me. You need to work for my attention. You need to work to stand next to me. And they understood that. I told them to go after her after I threw her out the ring at WrestleMania. They didn’t go when I told them to go. When I tell you to jump, you jump as high as I want you to go and they didn’t do that. So, we had a good talking. I’m not trying to chew them out on national TV here on ESPN, but they know what to do from here on out,” she said.

Cargill recently pinned Rhea Ripley in a six-woman tag team match at Saturday Night’s Main Event XLIV, where she teamed up with B-Fab and Michin to take on Ripley, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair.
