Liverpool take on Brighton this afternoon. Follow all the action from the Amex with our live commentary…
Liverpool will hope to ride the momentum gained from the midweek win over Galatasaray when they visit Brighton this lunchtime.
Arne Slot’s side were superb in beating the Turkish Super Lig leaders 4-0 to cruise into the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
They need to repeat that performance at the Amex to keep pace with the sides battling it out for a top-four finish.
Brighton’s form has picked up in recent weeks, although they were a touch fortunate to win at Sunderland last Saturday.
Boss Fabian Hurzeler wants another strong performance from his side against the defending champions.
“We all know Liverpool are still one of the best teams with incredible individual quality,” he said after watching their win over Gala. “They can always have these special nights at Anfield.
“They came into a flow and when Liverpool get into a flow they are dangerous for every team.
“It’s our responsibility to not let them get into that flow. We need to be prepared, be intense.”
