Chiefs’ Tight End Travis Kelce weighed in on Sunday’s big game. The star tight end didn’t dance around his prediction for Super Bowl LX.
Kelce co-hosts “New Heights” alongside his brother Jason. The brothers closed out their Saturday episode with Super Bowl talk. Travis laid out his analysis before dropping his pick between New England and Seattle.
Thanks for the submission!
“I do think that, uh, Seattle’s got what it takes to kind of come out on top on this one,” Kelce said. “I can’t say I’m, I’m not here rooting for Sam Darnold, man. I just, I love that story. I love, I love who he is as a dude, how he stayed true to him, to the process and himself and his confidence. And right now he is, uh, he is playing better than he is played all career.”

Sam Darnold spent years bouncing between franchises after Carolina selected him as the No. 3 pick in 2018. Seattle gave him another shot this season, and the quarterback delivered his best football.
Travis Kelce breaks down what makes both teams dangerous

Travis Kelce explained why this matchup intrigues him. The Kansas City veteran started by acknowledging New England’s coaching staff and their game management skills.
Julian Edelman joined New Heights previously to discuss the Patriots. Kelce brought up those conversations while examining how Mike Vrabel’s team operates. He sees Drake Maye positioned for a breakout performance on football’s biggest stage.
“Obviously huge Vrabel fans. Drake Mays got his opportunity to implement his self into Super Bowl stardom and I just think it’s gonna be a great game,” Kelce said. “And then on top of that, you got Seattle who’s got the juice, they got the energy, they got the excitement, they got the big play ability. You know, they got the, the ability to grind it out and the run game.”
Seattle’s offense creates chaos through the air and ground. That defense flies around and creates havoc for quarterbacks.
Travis Kelce’s own future remains uncertain after his Kansas City contract expired. Reports indicate the Chiefs want him back for 2026. He mentioned his excitement about Eric Bieniemy returning as offensive coordinator, which suggests he’s leaning toward another season. Sunday’s game kicks off at 4:30 p.m. MT from Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.
