Survive Lava for Brainrots Moon Event guide

Events in Survive Lava for Brainrots create unique effects on the map and apply traits to characters. With the Moon Update, the developers added the Moon Event, which reduces the gravity on the map, giving you a jump boost to access high-altitude platforms that are safe from the lava surges. It is particularly beneficial for early-game players as they can survive the lava without needing to rebirth to increase their jump power.

This guide tells you the timing, duration, and effects of the Moon Event in Survive Lava for Brainrots.

The Moon Event begins on a server every hour, the countdown for which can be seen on top of the moon next to the leaderboards. The event lasts 15 minutes, which is sufficient time for you to run to the Secret Area in the lava zone and grab the rarest brainrots.

Notably, the latest event occurs in every server at the same time. It is advised to log into the game a couple of minutes before it begins because, if you miss out, you’ll need to wait a whole hour.

During the Moon Event, the darkness envelopes the entire map and a crescent moon appears in the sky. Additionally, the gravity is lowered, such that pressing the jump button causes your avatar to remain in the air for a few seconds.

The low gravity caused by the event helps you climb the long platforms usually found in the Legendary Area and the Secret Area. Such platforms are safe from the lava surges, especially the Hard ones, which are much higher than the rest.

Brainrots have a chance of catching the Moon Glow trait during the Moon Event. This trait quadruples a brainrot’s income rate, meaning a Cacto Hipopotamo with Moon Glow generates $2100 per second, significantly higher than its normal version ($525 per second).

Besides a higher earnings rate, the Moon Glow trait gives a unique effect. The affected brainrot has a purple crescent moon above its name and a revolving moon around its body, which emits a blue hue.
