Mercedes Mone’s next match officially announced; but not in AEW

Mercedes Mone has been absent from AEW TV. Her next match outside the company has been officially announced.

Mercedes Mone has been a dominant force in the ring ever since she joined AEW. She has been on a title-collecting spree over the past several months and has won championships from promotions around the world. However, the past few weeks have not been good for the CEO, especially since she lost her TBS Championship to Willow Nightingale. When she confronted Willow and Kris Statlander the following week, she wound up getting slammed on some cake. As a result, Mone announced that she would taking some time away from the ring.

Now, Banger Zone Wrestling has announced that the AEW star would be making a appearance on one of their shows on March 14.

Mercedes Mone reacts to rumors of AJ Styles joining AEW

AJ Styles announced that he would be stepping away from the ring in 2026. Surprisingly, he put his career on the line against Gunther at the Royal Rumble 2026. After a gurelling contest, it was the ring general who emerged victorious, forcing the Phenomenal One to retire from the WWE. Following this, there have been many speculations about his future in the industry. Many people believe that Styles will probably go to TNA Wrestling, NJPW, or AEW where he will finish his career.

Mercedes Mone recently took to social media and addressed the rumors surrounding Styles. She said she hopes the rumors of him joining AEW are true.

“I hope the rumors are true 🤑🤞🏽” Moné wrote.

It will be interesting to see if AJ Styles will wind up in AEW.
