The forward has been key to their upturn.
West Ham will be without in-form forward Crysencio Summerville against Manchester City because of a calf problem.
Summerville has been instrumental in West Ham’s upturn in fortunes in recent weeks as the Hammers have moved just a point adrift of safety.
Indeed, the Dutchman has scored seven goals and provided an assist in 2026, having previously not registered a goal involvement since a 3-0 win at Nottingham Forest in August.
But he will miss the visit of Pep Guardiola’s side on Saturday as West Ham attempt to climb out of the bottom three, the former Leeds United man having suffered the injury during Monday’s FA Cup fifth-round tie with Brentford, which the Hammers won on penalties.
“We have Summerville that is out,” manager Nuno Espirito Santo told his pre-match press conference.

“We will assess him day-by-day and see how he goes, but he’s not going to be available for the game.
“It is a calf issue. We will assess him day-by-day and see how he goes, keep improving. We’re going to miss him, as he’s been an important player for us, but he will miss this game for sure.”
“It is nothing to do with that,” Nuno said when asked about Summerville completing the Brentford game after receiving treatment for the injury.
“It can happen one minute, it can happen any moment, but it’s for sure that when he came in, he was a big help for the team and really did well as he’s doing well for many, many games. He’s been huge for us.”
