Female WWE star loses four family members in a tragic house fire; receives supportive message from Thunder Rosa


The AEW star Thunder Rosa sent a supportive message to a WWE name, who unfortunately lost her family members in a house fire. The star had shared a social media post regarding the same.

The female WWE star, Daphanie LaShaunn (aka Aja Smith), who is currently active in the company as a referee, lost four of her family members in a recent tragic house fire. Daphanie has been with the Stamford-based promotion since 2020.

Taking to Instagram recently, LaShaunn revealed in a post that she unfortunately lost her grandma, grandpa, uncle, and cousin in a house fire incident with the following caption:

“My heart aches. Last night I lost my grandma, grandpa, uncle, and cousin in a house fire. We were at the scene til the very end.. My soul is hollow right now. Please pray for my family as we navigate this unbelievable nightmare. Planning 4 funerals and rebuilding is gonna be tough. My cousin, A family of 7 with 5 kids, are now displaced with nothing to their name. Anything helps even a repost. I’ve posted the gofundme link in my bio and I’ll also add it to my story. Thank you all so much.”

While multiple WWE stars reacted to the above heartwrenching post, the AEW star, Thunder Rosa also sent a message to Daphanie LaShaunn with the following comment under the post:

The female WWE star recently met a car accident alongside an ex-AEW star

The female WWE referee, Daphanie LaShaunn, recently had a car accident while she was with the ex-AEW star and her husband, Leon Ruff. In an Instagram post, Leon revealed that he is fine, but Daphanie is hurt after returning home from the hospital, and their car is also totaled.

Leon Ruff also asked fans to help him get extra bookings and urged everyone to drive safely in his post.
