“Introducing this season’s Shohei Ohtani Signature Collection by New Balance. Designed for on-field performance and off-field style, this collection features new performance and lifestyle pieces along with a new women’s and kids line in select markets.” The caption reads.
In March 2024, Ohtani launched his signature logo in collaboration with New Balance. He called the logo a visual representation of his baseball journey. Ohtani expressed his feelings while addressing the media,
“To finally reveal this special logo that I’ve worked closely on is truly an exciting moment for me.”
“Decoy Saves Opening Day,” Shohei Ohtani shared a moment reading his first comic.

Shohei Ohtani posted a carousel on Instagram on February 4. The photo highlights that he was sitting on the grass and reading a comic book with a small dog.
“Decoy and my first children’s book is out today! We can’t wait for you to read it.🐶” Ohtani captioned.
The comic was published by HarperCollins and written by Michael Bank. The book was released on March 2. The comic is about Ohtani’s debut story to the opening pitching day when Decoy left Ohtani’s lucky baseball at home. The story is fictional, but the bond between Decoy and Ohtani is real.
Ohtani also announced support for animal rescue, protection, and care through his foundation. In November, the launched Shohei Ohtani Family Foundation with a mission to create healthier, happier communities. The book also contributes to the mission of helping dogs find a permanent home.
