Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker, on Sunday on Instagram, fired direct shots at his ex-girlfriend Kendall Jenner after he broke the “Kardashian Curse” with his bet on the Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl LX win.
Booker placed a $1 million bet on the Seahawks after Jenner disclosed that she bet on the New England Patriots during her first-ever Super Bowl commercial ahead of Super Bowl LX. The former Kentucky star wasted no time in reminding her after his chosen team won 29-13 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa, California.

Kendall Jenner, in her ad for Fanatics, made fun of the long-running internet meme dubbed the “Kardashian curse,” an idea that athletes (especially NBA players) experience a dip in performance after dating someone from the Kardashian-Jenner family.
“Haven’t you heard? The internet says I’m cursed,” Jenner said. “Any basketball player who dates me kinda hits a rough patch. … This pool? Basketball Boyfriend 1 missed the playoffs. I guess nobody was getting a ring in this house.”
Their relationship was on-and-off as they first broke up in mid-2022 after about two years together, reportedly due to different life paths and career priorities. They reconciled briefly later in 2022 and then split again by late October/November 2022.
Booker made his return from an ankle injury in the 109-103 home loss against the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday. He missed seven games and finished the game with 21 points, two rebounds and nine assists.
