BKFC president David Feldman is pretty close to Conor McGregor these days after the Irishman became a part-owner of the combat promotion.
McGregor has been at several BKFC events and has consistently said he wants to return to combat sports. The White House has been one option for McGregor, though no fights have been confirmed on the card.
McGregor has also posted several training videos recently as he plots a return. Feldman appeared on the Ariel Helwani show and provided insights into the Irishman’s condition.
Feldman made huge claims regarding McGregor and believed this was the best version of the UFC legend:

“The best 10x Conor McGregor you have ever seen right now. Better than he was when he was in his prime. The most focused, wants to do everything right.”
Feldman added:
“He’s training his a** off each and every day. He’s eating right, he’s going to church, he’s doing everything that he’s supposed to do. This is not the Conor McGregor we have seen in the past couple of years. This is the best Conor McGregor that I’ve personally ever seen.”
Feldman was asked about McGregor fighting at the White House and brought up that the Irishman’s contract had changed due to the lack of pay-per-views after the Paramount deal.
However, Feldman believed that the UFC would find a solution to getting McGregor at the White House:
“I am sure that the UFC wants Conor McGregor to fight. He’s gonna fight and they are going to make it work. It makes sense for him to fight at the White House. My confidence level is probably around a 99%.”

Conor McGregor claims his UFC contract is void
Conor McGregor also addressed his current situation with the UFC. ‘The Notorious’ hasn’t fought since losing to Dustin Poirier in 2021 but was scheduled to face Michael Chandler in 2024 before he pulled out due to a broken toe.
McGregor was speaking to American YouTuber Caylus and claimed that his contract with the UFC is void:
“They’ve got a new deal with Paramount… and my contract essentially is void right now because there’s no more PPV whereas my contract was based on PPV sales. I’m the highest generating PPV fighter of all time. The PPV system is done. I’m due a new contract. So we’re going into negotiations in February and I’m very interested to see how it goes.”
McGregor still has a couple of fights left on his UFC deal.
