Similar to the previous game of the franchise, weapons in High on Life 2 are the central pillar of gameplay. You have a few primary options for Gatlians that are unlocked as you progress through the story. Other than that, a couple of secondary options exist to help you in traversal and during specific parts of a mission.

Primary fire on weapons
Here is a list of all primary weapons in High on Life 2:
- Gus – is a shotgun, low range, serious damage, small magazine
- Bowie – is a bow with slow operation, tricky to aim, but deals good damage
- Travis and Jan – both pistols that shoot like beams of energy, high damage, but slow and manual
- Sweezy – a fast SMG, holding right click shoots high charge single shot
- Sheath – Burst AR, also has ADR
- Creature – launches small creatures that attack enemies
Every single weapon in High on Life 2 features a special ability that can be triggered by pressing Q on the keyboard. These abilities are Trick Shots, and they offer extra utility when you are fighting bad guys.

Trick shots
Bowie
Soul Hole: This one basically makes a large hole in time, and we see through souls or things that the naked eye can’t see or shoot. Things inside that hole are black and white and slow. You can attack from the inside to deal damage.
Gus
Disc Launcher: A giant lava disc is thrown, which can be used to create platforms on a specific type of wall to climb up.
Sheath
Spike: Shoots an electric pole that can either be used to electrocute multiple enemies, make a zipline from one way to another, or solve puzzles by connecting electrical lines.
Sweezy
Time Bubble: Shoot a giant bubble that slows down anything it comes in contact with significantly.
Creature
Mpreg: Throws a hypnotic baby that can mind-control the enemies temporarily.
Jan and Travis
Slime Drive & Glob Shot: the husband and wife have similar Trick Shots where projectiles burst upon contact and deal damage. It can also be used to levitate a platform high to clear obstacles.

Additional weapons in High on Life 2
Other than your six primary options, you have Knifey, which works as a grapple tool or as a melee weapon. Lastly, there exists a temporary weapon (created by Suit-O) that can be used to pick and throw items with great force at enemies or objects.
