Cayden Boozer shared a romantic snap on Instagram Stories with his girlfriend, Gianna Torres. The Duke Blue Devils guard captioned the picture,

“Happy Valentine’s Day to my other half 💓”

Boozer and Torres have been together for over two years, and Carlos Boozer’s son regularly shares photos of them on social media. The pair’s relationship has waxed stronger with Boozer now playing for one of the major collegiate basketball powerhouses.

Boozer is having a solid but unspectacular freshman season with the Blue Devils. The promising guard is averaging 6.2 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists. His best scoring game was against the Western Carolina Catamounts. He put up 14 points in the 95-54 win while adding seven rebounds, five assists and two steals in 27 minutes on the court.

Cayden Boozer projected as first-round pick in 2026 NBA draft

Cayden Boozer entered college alongside twin brother, Cameron, as a consensus five-star recruit. He and his brother both committed to play college basketball for their father’s alma mater, the Duke Blue Devils.

According to Sports Illustrated, Boozer has a first-round projection despite hardly starting for Duke. The scouting report has the guard at No. 23 overall in the eyes of the NBA Draft on SI. The versatile guard is posting averages of 6.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.0 steals in his 20.4 minutes per contest.

The report gives Boozer some grace as he’s a freshman on one of the most talent-heavy teams in college basketball. Cayden’s brother, Cameron, Dame Sarr and Patrick Ngongba II are all projected to be early first-round picks. It’s a stacked starting lineup at Duke.

Duke is currently chasing their first national championship following the Coach K era. The last time Duke won the national championship was 2015, with their key players being Tyus Jones, Quinn Cook and Jahlil Okafor. Teams led by Zion Williamson and Cooper Flagg ultimately fell short.
