Alexa Bliss is set to compete in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match on the February 13 episode of WWE SmackDown. She will face Zelina and the Women’s United States Champion, Giulia, for a spot inside the steel structure in Chicago.
However, she could be taken out backstage by Kiana James and Giulia, with whom she has an ongoing feud. Bliss could be forced to sit out of the match and could be replaced by Charlotte Flair, who could go on to win.
Thanks for the submission!
Bliss could then be put in a qualifier next week to make up for her missed opportunity. However, a returning Bianca Belair could be introduced as a surprise participant, and she could go on to win the match. In doing so, WWE could avoid having Belair and Charlotte in the same qualifier. On the other hand, it could possibly lead to Alexa Bliss being forced to sit out of the Elimination Chamber this year.
This could later lead to tension between her and Charlotte Flair, especially if the 14-time world champion goes on to win the Chamber match.
Alexa Bliss told to turn heel by WWE SmackDown star
The January 23 edition of WWE SmackDown featured a Triple Threat Tag Team Match, with the winners becoming the number one contenders for the Women’s Tag Team Championship. Giulia and Kiana James defeated Charlotte and Alexa Bliss, as well as Nia Jax and Lash Legend in a tense bout.
On X/Twitter, Bliss was exasparated with the finish of the match. In response, Giulia asked her to turn heel and stop pretending to care.
“Alexa, go bad, You’ll feel better once you stop pretending to care,” wrote Giulia.
It remains to be seen whether the tension between Bliss and Flair could lead to a break-up in the near future, especially if the aforementioned scenario happens tonight.
