Rifts spawn in the Vanguardian Plaza every 45 minutes or 1 hour. They rotate every week, giving different units as potential rewards. It is also possible to summon them by using the Temporal Rift item, purchasable from the Rift Shop.

The One the Seas Fear

- When Shanks does critical damage, it inflicts Rupture. Rupture is a buff that gives the unit the ability to bypass all damage reduction perks of an enemy when it is stunned.
The Inspirer
- When a Pirate category unit is placed in this unit’s range, Shanks inflicts the Wanted debuff on all enemies in range
- An enemy with the Wanted debuff has their damage reduction amount set to 0.

- Stat tiers: Use Stat Chips to roll for S, Z, or Z+ tiers in each of Shanks’ stats. Prioritize enhancing Attack and Special Attack (SPA) stats over Range.
- Levels: Feed Shanks different food items to increase its level, and thereby, its overall damage and other stats. You can obtain food by clearing stages.
- Ascend: Ascension gives a slight boost to a unit’s stats. However, to ascend Shanks, you’ll need to get multiple duplicate Warlord (Of the Sea) from the Rift.
