New England Patriots kicker Andy Borregales could potentially win the Super Bowl as a rookie, a dream for many NFL rookies. More importantly, the 23-year-old will have his wife in attendance as he experiences what will be one of the most consequential nights in his career.
The news of Borregales’ marriage came out following his selection by the Patriots in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. But who is Andy Borregales’ wife?

She started working in accounting at Universal Court Reporting, a company that provides legal support services, the following year. Borregales and Stephanie don’t share details about how they began their relationship online. But we know they attended rival schools, as Borregales played for the Miami Hurricanes from 2021 to 2024.
One thing they do have in common, though, is their love for pets, as they have four dogs and have participated in pet adoption promotions. At the Patriots’ inaugural pet adoption in July 2025, Stephanie surprised Borregales with their fourth dog.
The couple was asked how many dogs they had, with Andy saying three while his wife said four. She later told the Patriots press:
“Walking to the adoption area, I just knew I was going to go home with a dog. I was looking at all of them and saw this cute little black fluff ball. I started holding her, and that was it. I was like, ‘Someone needs to tell Andy we’re going home with this dog.’”
Andy Borregales’ rookie season in a nutshell
Andy Borregales was the first kicker selected in the 2025 NFL Draft. He competed for the Patriots’ starting kicking job, beating John Parker Romo to earn the role during the preseason. He hit a 52-yard game-winning field goal to secure a win for the Patriots in Week 5 against the Buffalo Bills.
He was named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week in Week 12 after converting all four field goals and both extra points. His performance helped the Patriots beat the Cincinnati Bengals 26-20.
Borregales was named in the PFWA All-Rookie Team.
