Jofra Archer was on the receiving end in the T20 World Cup clash between England and Nepal in the 2026 T20 World Cup match at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday, February 8. The speedster leaked 22 runs in the 18th over, including three sixes. With that, Archer finished with figures of 1/42 in his four overs.
Archer began the over with a wide down the leg side before Aarif Sheikh smashed him over square leg for a maximum. The speedster dismissed him next ball before Lokesh Bam hit him for back-to-back sixes towards the sight screen and backward square leg off the fourth and fifth deliveries, respectively.

Lokesh smashed an unbeaten 39 off 20 balls, including two sixes and four boundaries, but failed to take the team over the line.
England beat Nepal by 4 runs in last-ball 2026 T20 World Cup thriller
Sam Curran defended nine runs off the final over as England beat Nepal by four runs in the 2026 T20 World Cup game.
Chasing 185, Nepal managed 180/6 in their allotted 20 overs. Besides Lokes, Dipendra Singh Airee slammed 44 runs off 29 balls, including one maximum and six boundaries. Skipper Rohit Paudel and Kushal Bhurtel also chipped in with 39 (34) and 29 (17), respectively. Besides Archer, Adil Rashid also conceded 42 runs in his three overs. Liam Dawson starred with the ball, finishing with economical figures of 2/21, while Luke Wood, Will Jacks, Curran, and Archer took one wicket apiece.
Earlier, England posted 184/7 after opting to bat first. Jacob Bethell and skipper Harry Brook smashed half-centuries, returning with scores of 55 (35) and 53 (32), respectively. Will Jacks provided the late carnage, hitting an unbeaten 39 off 18 deliveries, comprising four sixes and one boundary. Jos Buttler also slammed 26 off 17. Airee and Nandan Yadav scalped two wickets each, while Sher Malla and Sandeep Lamichhane bagged one apiece.
Harry Brook-led side will next play against the West Indies in Mumbai on Wednesday, February 11. On the other hand, Nepal will face off against Italy at the same venue on Thursday.
